I do not know the artist, but this is a nice mural in Somerville, right next to Cambridge.

Famous street artist Banksy made this in 2010 on a wall in Essex st, just of off Central Square. It was gone within a short time.

This is the wall of restaurant Bondir which opened in 2011, after Con Sol closed. The Google Street view picture was taken when Con Sol was still there. In the mean time a new building has also been erected right next to it. Bondir has an interesting new approach, namely a menu that changes every day, with a special emphasis on freshness of ingredients.

This wall is frequently painted with new spray paint art. The opposing wall has a more permanent photographic piece on it showing the people around the neighbourhood.

Close to Central Square is this one. Artist: Pasqualina Azzarello 1997. In the text on the side the artist has written that it is a tribute to Marc Chagall.

This is written to the side of the painting.

I don't know why there is a picture of a boat on church street, or who has painted it, but it's decorative. Style looks a little bit like the mural with the dancers on Western Ave

This is a mural depicting the firemen of Company No. 5 on the side of the building that houses the fire department. Painted by Ellary Eddy in 1980. The mural features George Washington, in honor of his time spent in Boston and his being a volunteer firefighter in Virginia, and Benjamin Franklin because he founded the first volunteer fire department in the US, and he is depicted wearing sneakers. Coughlin Insurance in front is in my view among the ugliest buildings in the area, but you do get used to it after a while. I guess now, if it would disappear I would feel kind of sad. The mural however, is definitely nice and I am sure a lot of people like it.

This is quite a long one. The artist is David Fichter, who has done a lot of murals in the Boston area. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of pedestrians here, most traffic is in the form of cars coming from and entering the Interstate 93. Thanks to Google street view though, we can still get a nice view.
